21/04/2012 – COLOMBIAGE welcomes José Hernando Arias in his second trip to Colombia with BBC’s World Routes Academy team!
The adventure continues, this time in Valledupar, Cesar, Colombia! Where José Hernando expects to leave a very large footprint in the history of the renowned Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata. He has all our support and good wishes. For now, stay tuned with the next program in the World Routes Academy2012 series on Sunday, April 29th, 22:30 on BBC Radio 3! You can listen online at the BBC Radio 3 website on the day. Also, it has been just announced that José Hernando and Master Egidio will be performing at the Proms No. 24 on Tuesday 31st July 2012!

28/01/2012 – World Routes Academy 2012
World Routes celebrated the 2012 apprentice and mentor of the BBC Radio 3 World Routes Academy on the night of the 27th January, at the BBC Radio Theatre. UK-based, 19 year old self-taught virtuoso JOSE HERNANDO ARIAS NOGUERA has become the youngest member of the World Routes Academy. His mentor, renown accordion player Egidio Cuadrado, famous not only for being part of Carlos Vives music group but for his own talent, flew in specially from the other side of the world, Bogotá – Colombia, to be at the BBC Radio Theatre and perform together with his new disciple. They were accompanied by David Morel (bass), Alfonso Mono (caja) and Jorge Cano (guacharaca).
