BY TUBE
The nearest tube station is Hammersmith, served by the Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith & City lines. It is about five minutes walk from the tube stations to Riverside.
If arriving on either the Piccadilly or District lines: Exit the tube by the rear exit which brings you out next to Tesco’s. Follow the signs to the Carling Apollo, going through the subway. Walk past the Carling Apollo, with the building to your left, and continue down Queen Caroline Street which runs down from the right of the Apollo. At the end of the road turn left into Crisp Road and you should see Riverside on the right hand side of the street.
If arriving on the Hammersmith & City line: Exit the station and cross over the road straight in front of you. Cross over King Street and walk past Bar 38 on your right. Head towards St. Paul’s Church which is straight in front of you. With the church on your right you should see the Carling Apollo directly in front of you, behind the flyover. Follow the directions above from the Apollo.
BY ROAD
Hammersmith is easily accessible by road and some limited parking is available on local residential streets.
To plan your car journey:
AA Journey Planner
Crisp Road and the surrounding roads are all resident/ticket parking between 08.00 and 18.30. The charge is £2.40 per hour. Blue Badge holders can park free of charge (see below).
There are parking spaces in front of the building but we have been unable to secure any of these as reserved disabled parking. Alternatively, an NCP car park is situated on Hammersmtih Grove, which is approximately ten minutes walk away.
Parking is not normally a problem unless there is a large event at the Carling Apollo (at the top of Queen Caroline Street) which can make all the surrounding roads very busy.
Blue Badge Holders
- Blue Badge holders can park in any shared-use bay in the Borough when correctly displaying a Blue Badge.
- It applies to on-street parking and includes free use of parking meters and pay-and-display bays.
- Badge holders may also park for up to three hours on single and double yellow lines as long as they are not causing an obstruction (except where there is a ban on loading or unloading or other restrictions).
