Colombian Film Panorama

London, Paris and Barcelona open their doors for the second time to a new generation of film talent that will provide us with different perspectives on Colombia. The selection this year includes works of fiction and documentary that explore the country’s spaces of light and shadow, its places and lost memories. Come and join us in one or more of the 30 screenings and discussions happening simultaneously in the three cities.
The films will be presented at the Rio Cinema, Hackney Picture House, Bussey Building and Apiary Studios, partner venues that find it exciting and interesting to bring the most recent and unseen Colombian films to local audiences.

Fernando’s Montaño’s Latin Extravaganza – A Gala Evening in support of Children of the Andes

Royal Ballet star Fernando Montaño will be organising a Latin Extravaganza in support of Children of the Andes next Sunday 8th June. Fernando will be collaborating with fellow Colombian Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music lead guitarist) as well as Cuban-Colombian vocalist Alexis Mercedes, Spanish flamenco star Alberto Escobar and many others to showcase some of the very best in Latin American talent. Guests will be invited to join the artists for a champagne reception before the show. Fernando has been described as Colombia’s Billy Elliot – he is a Royal Ballet soloist and muse to Vivienne Westwood.
